here is some of the fluff i have dyed.
i bought these as raw fleeces... cleaned, dyed, carded and spun by me :D

here it is in a single. obviously the twist hasn't been set. i've got to fill another spool and then i will ply it.
it's very scratchy and tweedy looking/feeling.
i plan to make up oodles of this and crochet myself a coat :hook

Rebecca, do you use hand cards or did you get a roving carder? I am about to come into some alpaca fleece from a friend and I am so darn tempted to buy a carder, but then I know I really shouldn't spend that kind of $$$.
I'm trying to convince myself that a set of hand cards (if that's what you use, what kind do you have?) and a Wooley Winder would be a much better investment.
