That's pretty - what did you line it with?

Nothing. :) I made sure I picked a square pattern with solid corners so it would provide coverage.

Hopefully no one (you don't want to see thru it ) will get close enough to see through it- I thought it was cleverly engineered to cover!

LOL! Thanks everyone.

For the record, I have a birthmark under them there cups and that's what you're seeing. :) It's actually pretty darn solid coverage. I'm not hugely busty (obviously!), so I don't tend to jiggle much, so I think I'll be OK.

Thanks again! Glad you like it - it was loads of fun to make!

Great job! I love that yarn, but it is too expensive to buy a lot of it to use here in Belgium...and its European!! :think

That's a nice idea, :idea to use granny squares for the cups...Would any squares work, do you think? :think

It's actually pretty cheap here. About US$4. Expensive, but not for a sport weight 100% cotton. Since I only used 2 skeins, I think it was a good buy. :) And I'm lucky, my local yarn shop has a huge selection of Catania. Normally I would have used Reynold's Saucy Sport (http://www.pagelinx.com/cgi-shopper/search.cgi/smileysyarns/ezshopper?user_id=4534&1_option=3&1=saucysport&database=dbase1.exm&template=template1.htm&output_number=100), but when I touched this, I had to use it!

I had to test several to find one that would work. What you're looking for is one that has very solid corners. If you wanted, they could be solid squares, but I kind of like the hint of naughtiness. ;) Just try a few. For an A/B cup, you want each square to be about 8-9 cm across. I then went around each cup with a row of sc for stability - but I don't think you'd have to, depending on your square pattern.

I love that! I've been fooling around with making my own tank pattern and the three granny squares are an awesome idea. (I love the crochet stitch bible too)
:yay it's fabulous.
