Here's the shawl I made using Holly's Butterfly Wing Shawl pattern. It's done with an N hook in a French wool blend and Bernat Softee Chunky. I added the collar because I wanted to have a little subtlety for the flower and leaves. Pics are clickable.

The yarn (both colors) was gifted to me by my summer SP. The main part took five 50 gram balls of the wool blend!

Nice...very nice shawl. I'll have to try this pattern again, I totally screwed it up the first time and had trouble so called in the FROG and have never gotten back to it.

:ty all for your compliments! I started this pattern using a size K hook, but it didn't give the drape I wanted. This yarn drapes SO nicely and is very warm and snuggly! Holly, I really enjoyed working with your pattern!

Jewels,
if there is anything I can help you with or if there is anything confusing about the way I wrote the pattern, please let me know!! Once you get a few rows into it, it really is one of those mindless, tv watching patterns :hook
