I'm trying to find a pattern called 'Special Stitch Shawl'.
I've tried looking online, but with no luck.
NOTE: I'm not asking for the pattern....just where I might find it!!!
(Don't want the 'copyright police' coming after me!!!)
I think it might from a old issue of Crochet World, not sure.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

It may be hard to find unless you can remember the stitch used. Here is a site with lots of free shawl patterns.

Some people refer to the "special stitch" as the box stitch, you could try googling box stitch and see if that is what you are looking for...I wish you luck. If you can post a picture of the shawl you are looking to make it might be helpful to indentify the stitch you want to make. Good luck!

Possibly Annie's Crochet To Go # 120? On page 19 there is a "Special Stitch Shawl" designed by Shirley Brown. HTH

Hi All,
I was able to find it. It seems to be made with LB Homespun, with a 'I' hook (it's definitely a 'Winter' Shawl.
It's not exactly what I thought, but at least I got to meet some very nice people in my search! ;-)
Thanks again for all your help,
Ken
