I have been searching for dishcloth patterns made with 2 strands of size 10 cotton. I haven't found many patterns online other than dresses etc.
I found this book online:
http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-perl/itemdetail.pl?item=LA3211

Does anyone have it , and could tell me how many are actually thread patterns and not worsted weight cotton patterns?

Also, anyone have any other sources, free online or books with thread dishcloth patterns?

Thanks
Kath

This pattern would work up perfectly with 2 strands of size 10

OH! What a good idea!! You can make this anysize so it would be wonderful! Thank you so much for the idea! And crazy stitch/block stitch is one of my favorites, I never even thought of it!

Find any selection of crochet stitches and make them up into square shapes. That way you have an almost unlimited supply of 'patterns'. :rofl

You could also use some 12" square patterns for some really pretty cloths.

When I want a scarf pattern I just look for stitches that I like so I know this technique works.

Yeah I thought about doing that. The problem is a pretty cloth isnt necessarily a functional dishcloth for me. But Im sure there are some 12in square patterns that would work and be the right size when they are done.

Thanks Darski!
