I finished this shrug this weekend, super easy. I saw a knitted one similar on Knitty Gritty and decided to try to make a collar on this one, I think it turned out great. Photos on my blog.

Pretty! Very nice work. I read about your kitty. Hope he's better. Sometimes cats get kidney or urinary tract infections that make them act like that.

As usual Donna, absolutely beautiful! I'm working on the Ella now. I hope Baloo doesn't continue marking up the house-

Donna, great shrug, and I LOVE the collar. The whole thing is great, but that collar totally finishes it off and really gives it interest. Is that your own pattern? I love the wider, bell-shaped arms and the open, airy stitch.

I love your work, I just browsed through your FO's and WIPS. I especially love your scrumble. Any intentions for it?

Now I know what to do with the peice I started yesterday! It is in Joanns Sensations with an "N" hook and about 18 inches wide. I had thought that it would be too wide to fold over for a shrug, but after seeing yours I believe it will work out just fine.

I just happened to check this thread. I haven't re-listed my patterns on Ebay yet. If you are interested in the Ella bolero, please email me (or PM me) if it is not too late.

I have attached the first knit project to the top of it...sort of like a border. I've done a little more on it, but I intend for it to be a tapestry/wall hanging for my bedroom.
