Elongated Octagon Rug?????????

I have my heart set on this. I have found lots of octagons but none with 2 parallel sides longer than the other 6 sides. I'd like the whole rug to end up about 3 x 5. Can anybody help? :shrug

Get an octagon motif/square, and build the rug with these to the size/shape you want is what I would suggest.

Yes it would.
You could make them all one color or many colors as you prefer.
And then you can join them in the shape of the octagon that you want with the 2 long sides.
