Announcing: New Social Group for Those Attending Chain Link 2009

Are you attending CGOA's Chain Link crochet conference in Buffalo in August? Then come join the Chain Link 2009 Attendees (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/group.php?groupid=3) social group!

Social groups are a newly enabled site feature that provide members who share a common interest a special place to gather with and easily identify each other. Chain Link 2009 Attendees (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/group.php?groupid=3) is currently our only social group, although we may decide to create others in the future.

Social Group Features:


Listing of all group members (by username and avatar)
Photos (currently only admins can upload photos to the group)
Discussion Threads
All Crochetville members can view group content (photos and posts)
Only group members will be able to post messages


Where to Find Social Groups:

Registered members can find this social group (and any other future groups) at any time by clicking the Community link in the dark blue nav bar at the top of any forum page and selecting "Social Groups" in the pull-down menu.

this is a very neat idea! and just another reason I wish I were going to Chain Link:cry but even so, it'll be fun to look at the posts :D

I so wish I could go this year. My Grandma and Grandpa live so close to buffalo and I haven't seen them forever. It could have been doubly amazing.

I just attended my first ChainLink and had the most wonderful time. The breakout session with Amy was helpful and informative. The time everyone put into the show is admirable. Thank you to all who were helpful to the "newbies".
