Sophie the bear is cute...have you made her? What size is she, it doesn't say.
And Lavender Bunny is adorable....again it doesn't say what size it is.

Making stuffed animals is fun and addicting. One of my favorite pattern is from a ville member, sorry, forgot her name. Its the "Baby Snow Dragon" in the free pattern section here. I've made it in different types and weights of yarn and they all come out different sizes and have thier own personalitys. And its so fun to make. Here's a link to see some of what I made.

Hope you like it.:)

Tia: The lavender bunny is about the size of a 2 litre pop bottle(standing) done in worsted weight. I have not made the sophie bear, but she's really cute.
There are a ton of patterns here on the 'ville and craftster as well.
Island Girl: I've been wanting to make the baby snow dragon but haven't gotten around to it. Yours are so cute! I also really like the starghan... the colors look really good together.

Thank you. Can't wait to see your dragons when you're done.
I used the left-over Pound of love yarn I had at the time. Maybe I'll make a small star pillow to go with it. Still have some of all the colors left. :yarn

Island Girl:I dont think we have that kind of yarn here.. at least I've never seen it before. A star pillow would be nice. I began a starghan once but I ran out of yarn. Now I'm thinking about making one :D like I need anything else on my hook lol.
Tia: The pattern is in my original post, the 3rd link. The baby snow dragon is somewhere on this site... just do a search for it and it should pop up. I think you can probably find it on crochetpatterncentral too.
The monique bear is so so easy and works up pretty fast. I've made it in both thread and yarn and both ways looks good.

Okay, I figured out which one was Monique. The white one by the keyboard looks so different from the pink one where the pattern is. I saw the pink one first and wasn't interested, but loved the white one! :lol I'll do her in white worsted, I have some that has sparklies in it.
I've been working on lavender bunny some this morning. I did the tail, one arm and have started on the other. I'm using Moda Dea Dream in light pink, with purple accents (bottom of paws, tail and for eyes and nose.)

I can't wait to see when you're finished Tia!
There was a CAL.. teaddy bear along I think it was called. There are many pics of monique bears made by some of the people participating in that CAL. Every one that I have seen looks different than the next.. I think it's the face that does it.

Can you buy Lionbrand yarn in a store, or just from their website?

I can find Lion Brand in every craft store we have around here (WV/MD/VA) and those are: Joann's, Ben Franklin, Michaels and A.C. Moore.

Okay, I took a few days off, but now I'm back to lavender bunny. I've completed both arms and have started on the body...almost finished the head.

Yeah I've been busy with the shawl swap and getting ready to move that I haven't finished the bear I'm working on. I'm making another Monique bear in thread.
