Skill Level: Intermediate Beginner--Student should be comfortable with single crochet and working with small crochet pieces.

Description: This class features June's amigurumi alpaca pattern available at her website. (Pattern is included in class fee at discounted price.) June will provide tips for success working with amigurumi shapes.
Week 1 will cover magic ring, invisible decrease, and crocheting all the pieces. Week 2 will cover assembly and embellishments.
SPECIAL NOTE: If you are comfortable working amigirumi patterns on your own, you may not need to take this class to have a successful experience completing the pattern. You are welcome to purchase the pattern directly from June's website (http://planetjune.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11_14&products_id=55) ($5.00) and work on your own. You are still welcome to register for the class, but please recognize that you will be doing so for the camaraderie of the class and the ability to interact with June and have direct access to her skills/knowledge/experience. Please do not be upset if the class ends and you find that you would have been able to complete the alpaca without benefit of the class.
Supplies Needed:
Approximately 100 yds worsted weight yarn in any natural colour (brown, cream, black, beige, etc). Alpaca yarn adds to the realism, but is not required!
US E/3.5 mm hook

Yarn needle
Two 9-10mm animal eyes or alternative
