I made this poncho for my niece Steph. I did use black for the border but it was sort YUCK looking. I still might edge it if I find a nice soft mocha color.
It's made using Aran Fleck SW by Redheart and G hook.

Yes, however, me being not the sharpest tool in the shed, didn't read a pattern, and made two equal lengths. So I had to do a bit of netting in the breast area so that it might stay on the shoulders! The girls like the netting effect, I dont care for it but its done. I do like that tiny shell stitch and hope to find other projects to use it on.

Looks good,Cordelia!I like RH Warm Brown with Aran Fleck,though I did sell a hat last year that was Aran Fleck with a Black stripe and coordinating flower pin.
