I make a lot of the boobie pillows and someone saw one and asked me to make one that looks like a cow's udder. He supplied the nipples and here's what I came up with. He really liked it, since he paid me double what I asked for it.

The nipples are bottle nipples for calves or colts to suck on. They are pretty big. I assumed that he was a farmer. I never even met him. He ordered it through my hubby's boss who has a boobie pillow he was showing him. I wasn't sure it was going to turn out, but I made it work.

That is too funny! Great job! I know several farmers who would appreciate that pillow...although you would think that they would be sick of seeing these after hooking up the milking equipment umpteen times every day!

What an clever pillow! How did you attach the teats?

I have to make that boobie pillow one of these days (and maybe the udder one also for my sister's neighbors-they are dairy farmers).

It was a very unusual request. I made 4 rectangles to slide the teats through. Then I crocheted them together and crocheted the center too. I then sewed then on and filled it with fiberfill to make it poofy.

I was just hoping it looked alright to the guy that ordered it. I had about a week to figure it out and make it. I'm still curious what the story was behind it. Some day I'll hear about it, I'm sure.

You pillow is great!!! I made the regular boobie pillow a few years ago for my hubby. Instead of rubber nipples I made a popcorn stitch on each boob.....it turned out pretty good.:D :laughroll

My goodness woman, that just has to be a kick for you to get such an order as that. You did a great job with it.

You may have hit on a new best seller (over the boobie pillow) :lol.

Got to have that pattern. I will make up the "perfect udder nipples" (in crochet) :rofl for you if you ever run out of a source for them :lol.
