At kool aid dying I used the "sun tea" meathod (http://www.cybersecretary.com/fiber/weaving.html) (scroll down) and 1 gallon of water with 10 packets of "berry blue" flavor of kool aid (I traded for it because at the time I couldn't get it locally) and one full skien of "Chaco worsed weight 100% Virgin wool" which was a raok from another friend.
Here is the beginning skien untouched:

Then several after pics

I'm having to dry it on my washing machine on a towel with a fan blowing on it, because otherwise it'd get pollen and sap all over it drying it outside (I also don't have a clothes line :lol) It didn't turn out as dark as I would have liked, but I probally could have left it out in the sun another hour or so too! I can't wait to make the felted hook pattern with this and see what it looks like then!!
