Hi! found this doily a while ago among my mother's stash. She made this 2 years ago but cant remember where she got the pattern. :hook I'm not sure if this is the way its supposed to look, I just pointed the edges up. The pineapple design is very nice. Maybe I'll be able to find the pattern later if I try hard enough to look for it. You may view the bigger image here (http://photos21.flickr.com/28152162_140cbf4dd5_o_d.jpg).

(July 31) I just found the book where the pattern came from:

The doily mom made lacks one more round of edging. I suppose she put it aside coz the edges didnt, and wouldn't lay flat...:P

What a beautiful doily. I have never seen the ends turned up that way but it adds something special to the effect. How big is it? I have been looking for a lotus pattern to turn up the petals to make a base for a little figurine of fairies and this gives me a whole new avenue to explore. Thank you.:manyheart

It looks like the swan doilies. Maybe she just didn't finish the beaks?

Thanks for your comments!! The doily is 12" in diameter. Yes, maybe it isn't finished yet - my mom cant remember. Anyway, I'll look for the pattern and I'll let you know when I find it. :hook
