Hi there,

I'm new here, and joined because I need help! I'm having problems reading patterns...

when my instructions say:
"ch 160
dc in third ch from hook, ch 3, sc around the post from front of beg ch-3 lp, *cd in each of the next 2 ch - 2-dc grp made; ch 3, sc around post from front of first dc of 2 dc-grp just made: rep from * across, ch 2, turn."

What does that mean?
I understand up to the part about sc around the post...
I've checked online, and as far as I can tell, once I dc in third stitch, I technically have two little "posts" right? Now, does this mean that I sc around the first post, or around both posts in the dc "group"?<img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/banghead.gif" />
Please help explain? Thanks in advance,
Renik

Hi, renik20! Welcome to Crochetville! :welcome

I understand up to the part about sc around the post... I've checked online, and as far as I can tell, once I dc in third stitch, I technically have two little "posts" right? Yes, that's correct.

Now, does this mean that I sc around the first post, or around both posts in the dc "group"? Sc only around the first post, not both posts in the dc group.

Let us know if you need more help! :fluffy
