Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. Must know the basics of chain and slip stitch

Description: Learn to make beautiful Beaded Ropes using Size 10 crochet thread and seed beads. Learn how different size beads and starting chains can change the look and feel of your ropes. This is a project class. After learning to create a rope, we will make a bracelet.
Supplies Needed:
Worsted Weight Yarn
40-60 Plastic Pony Beads pre-strung on worsted weight yarn
Size I (5.5 mm) and/or J (6.0 mm) crochet hook (smaller hooks are acceptable as well if student crochets loosely)
For Bracelet:
1.5 grams of size 6° seed beads in any color or color combination
Size 6 (1.5 mm) steel crochet hook
Omega nylon thread Size 5 to match beads (I recommend Crochet Style ETC (http://www.crochetstyleetc.com/allaboutomeganylon.htm) to purchase if you can't find in your local craft store) OR Size 10 cotton crochet thread
Jewelry clasp to match
Scissors
Hypo Cement (found in jewelry/beading area of craft stores)
