There was an interview with her and her band in W magazine and she was talking about one her favorite hobbies (besides singing) was crocheting. She said that she will crochet between sets and that most of the hats or scarves she wears are made by her. Her love of crocheting came when a fan gave her a crocheted hat and scarf set and then recommended a book to her to get started. She has been crocheting for years now. She also mentioned that she tried to learn to knit, but never could figure it out.
When the band went out on tour (Bonaroo and Hookaville) she made matching hats for the band to wear on stage.
