I was inspired by these two pictures I picked up at a Goodwill store.
I loved the cat and thought it would make a great stuffed animal.
So, i made two, (since they are Siamese cats :) ).
Here's Sasha and Sushi. (Please click on the pics for larger views).

I took a horrible picture with them in front of the pictures first. The pictures just screamed sixties to me and I love that kind of stuff. They are made out of what looks like fish tank gravel :lol
ANYWAY...

Here they are alone and hopefully more in the picture!
(Sushi is in the aqua sweater and Sasha is in the orange).
I had to crochet the sweaters right onto them so they can never be taken off. (Their bodies were just shaped in such a way that it would have to be like that. But you can lift up the sweaters and look underneath and all. Just not take them off. Probably would frustrate a lot of little kids. :lol )

Here they are from behind. Their bodies are cone shaped. Their tails are crocheted around pipe cleaners which worked great.

Oh! And their whiskers are made from a thread that feels like it is coated in wax of some sort. I got it from a kit for making moccasins. It's what was used to sew the leather strips together. They called it artificial sinew. It worked great for whiskers!
