comfy cozy socks

i just received this out of print booklet from www.velona.com
it was a little pricey including shipping and insurance-
i am looking forward to making the the socks

at present i am making ribbed hiker sock(crocheted socks by Rehfeldt)- using reynolds swizzle yarn -

the yarn-imho- is better than patons kroy-

i tried the crochet me pattern but did not like the short cuff-or heel- i followed instructions and leg was tight

I have some Swizzle but haven't done anything with it. Glad to hear you like it! I think Kroy is a good, inexpensive sock yarn (though now that Knit Picks have solid color sock yarn, I think they win). Then again, it's not like I worry about price that much when I buy sock yarn (sigh).

i don't have a good camera for pictures-i leave computer things to my son

i have made 6 pairs of socks-all different
i still have some difficulty with instructions-esp. gussets

in ribbed hiker split single crochet is difficult with the g hook-
so i am doing single crochet-
