Inspired by Kazens's Mocha doily (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9754), I made the Hazelnut doily from Patti K.'s
Coffee N Creme Doilies (http://www.pkcrochet.com/3073ccd.html). I had this book for awhile, but it's the first doily I made from the book.

I enjoyed making this this doily--except for the popcorn stitches which slow me down;), but I really like the look and texture they give it.
I want to try the Expresso Doily (http://www.pkcrochet.com/1expresso.jpg) next, but I need to find some taupe or brownish thread although I could always make it in pink:think .

Beautiful... My hubby tells me if I crocheted 8 hours a day for the next 10years I would never crochet all the pattern I have...Molly

Patricia K. is one of my favorite designers. I love her new spiral doilies!
I think anyone who can crochet one of her doilies has earned a merit badge not only for making doilies, but for crocheting.
Great job and :clap a round of applause!

I find her doilies interesting to make, and I like the texture she gives them. I read that she started doing that because she saw that some of the people she gave her doilies to had her doilies on the wrong side.:eek
I think I will buy Doilies with a Twist (http://www.pkcrochet.com/twist.html). The doilies do look challenging, but I think I'm up to it. Yours look wonderful.

I'm sure that I couldn't either. I've heard it called "Stash Beyond Life Expectancy." :D
