Oh I love it! I picked that issue up and browsed through it. And I loved that poncho!!! It almost made me buy the magazine (almost) but I decided not to spend the money. It is beautiful, great design you came up with!!

I loved that poncho so much that I started it and finished it within about 3 days of getting the mag! I used rubine red (because that is what I had on hand, I would have had to wait to start making it) but I want to get the peach and make another, I love it!!!

Deneen, I love your Summer Splash Bag, I was wondering where curliegirl.com got the pattern from....

LOL-that bag was Andrea's (crochetdiva's) inspiration to try and make one (AJ's Wrist Bag) and then Mrs. Who designed one in the shell design using nylon.

All I did was use cotton, change the colors and made it from Mrs. Who's pattern. Both are posted on this board. If you need more direction, let me know and I will find the posts for you.

Not sure, I suppose it would depend on the release you signed when they accepted your pattern. Do you retain the rights to the pattern or is it exclusively copyrighted to the magazine now?

Well, being the wonderful being that i am, i don't have the contract anymore so i don't know what i signed or for how long. I've heard of some designers just giving the rights for 2 years or so but i don't know how to ask for this (scared they will reject the design then).

Oh! if i only knew how to make it reach Oprah...! my life would be easier...
