filet butterfly

This is my finished filet butterfly which i decided to frame. it was a big one to do as i only learnt to filet crochet in recent months and only made some small items before. there were 40 rows to do. :) :yay i certainly am :hook

delta crochet is similar to filet but you work in triangles instead of squares. it is pretty. i have only seen one website that shows how it is done. :hook here is the website. http://www.hassdesign.com/DeltaCrochetTechniques/ :hug

:ty maria yes it needed a black background to show it up properly so i went and bought some black card and decided to frame it to keep it looking good and save having to get it washed too. :hook :hug glad it has inspired you too. :cheer took me a long time to finish as i did it a little at a time. there were 40 rows to do.
