Granny square fleece

I'm was a Jo-Ann's yesterday getting fabric for my son's costume. I saw a lady carrying aroung a bolt of fleece with rainbow color granny squares. I took a double take. At first I thought it was a real granny ghan.

Thought I share my sighting.

I was at Joann's today too. I saw some fabric on a bolt that looked kind of like ultrasuede, it was cut and incised along the bottom to look like fringe. I didn't pull it out, but I was thinking it was probably meant to look like fringe on a shawl or poncho. I'll bet it was cut along the top in a V. :loco
