My first shrug

I finally finished my shrug. This is the schematic shrug pattern I got here on the forum. It seemed to take me forever to complete, but I think it really looks nice. I loved this yarn since the day I first laid my eyes on it! Glad I made my shrug out of it. Not anxious for fall/winter, but anxious to wear this!

you know, i'm so glad shrugs are back, and i cant help but think we crocheters (and knitters too i guess) are partially responsible for it. and this is a perfect example, better than anything store bought. i LOVE the color! :hook :hook

Thanks everyone. There for awhile I wasn't sure if I'd ever finish it. I had frustrations in the beginning, but alas it is done! I made a little chain tie to tie the front of it shut. :cheer

My concern in the beginning was that it was going to be so big around my wrist, but I think it will be just lovely. I've gotten a ton of compliments from people at work who are just about as anxious for me to wear it as I am! :lol :lol :cheer Thank you Mrs Who for the great pattern.
