Hi All!

I went into Fashion Bug tonight and they had tons of ponchos. Then Hubby and I went to Walmart and they also had several. I love ponchos and can't wait to make my own!

Just walk through any mall... and window shop.

From Robinson's May at one end, to Sears at the other... and all points inbetween... there were ponchos. Even Gap Kids had some!

I wonder how long this trend with last this time?

deb, sadly, probably not long. today's trendsetters are fickle. i can't believe the flared jeans have lasted this long. things are usually only "in" for 2 years and then are "so yesterday" i'm trying to get lots of stuff done for my daughter now. what a chic little 5yr old i have:)) too bad she's not older - to where it actually would make a difference to her. :p

I think we should throw our fashion conciousness to the wind and all continue to wear our ponchos & shawls, even after we are "allowed" to. So there <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/nahnahbooboo.gif" />

hey, i'm all for NOT following trends. I tend to stick to classic pieces. I think shawls and ponchos are classic enough that they should never go out of style! <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/clap.gif" />

Now that I started school, it seems like everyone's wearing ponchos. I'm not a huge fan of ponchos myself, but I just might have to make one... ;)

Yes, Germany has hitched a ride on the poncho train. I don't know if it will be as big as it is in the US, but I will keep y'all posted.
