Hi I just finished my first prayer shawl. I'm really pleased with it so I thought I'd show you all!:yay
It's a great pattern to follow, and didn't take long to do!

That is a beautiful prayer shawl:cheer I have made several using a different pattern. After looking at the picture of yours I think I like it better. Would you share where you got the patten:think I so enjoy making them and giving them to people who for whatever reason are going through a difficult time.

A prayer shawl is simply a shawl you make while praying for the person you're giving it too. However there are groups out there like the site where she got the pattern for this one that have specific patterns posted. I'm not a very prayerful person, but I'm making my mom a saraphina shawl right now and I find myself thinking of my Mom:) and her health:angry while I stitch. I think instead of calling it a prayer shawl I'll write a note about how it was stitched with a daughters love and she can wrap herself up in it even when her daugters are far away....
