The blanket is a gift for my father. He suffered his first heart attack a few years ago and that "woke" me up on my own heart health. He was only 45 years old. Today, he's doing better however he has to go in for another surgery soon. I think Heart Disease in women kind of gets pushed aside to other disease we hear more about. Until my father's attack, I always thought cancer, mainly breast cancer, was the number one cause of death in women. It was to my surprise I found out it was Heart Disease. So now, I support the GO Red For Women program with the American Heart Association 100%. Most of my closet consist of red clothing, I even wear red shoes!! I am very lucky to have found out how important heart health is at such a young age!!! :)h
