I know its not finished, but I am so excited. I learned the basketweave stitch and I'm making a scarf out of Plymouth Indiecita Alpaca worsted weight. I LOVE this stitch, it is gorgeous, and thick, and wonderful! LOL!

That is a lovely stitch. Was it hard to learn? My sister says it's easy but I have yet to try it.
Nice work!

Bec, it really wasn't hard to learn. I have wanted to learn it but was procrastinating as I loved the look and was sure it was difficult--I was wrong :) Once you get the swing of the front and back post dc's, its not any more difficult than regular dcs.

I love that stitch myself - it's amazing how it really looks so much like a basketweave, even when you turn it from front to back. I found a basketweave tutorial (http://www.obgidge.com/lesson09.html) through Crochet Pattern Central.
