i was thinking about buying this pattern, but she only has it in small sizes and my chest is a 38". oh well i'll just have to wait i guess. :)

Thanks so much everyone for the compliments. Deneen, the :frog is still pretty fresh in my mind, but I think I can say it was worth it.

To those going to buy the pattern or who want a bigger size...I really don't think it would be too hard to expand the size of this. I had to do it myself. I'm not sure why but I couldn't get the right amount of stitches by following the pattern exactly so I had to improvise. Before you put on the ribbing it is supposed to fit kind of like a cape,so you could make it to fit right and you would know where to do the stitches for the sleeves by trying it on and marking where to start. Then the ribbing is done by measurement. So yea, I can't see it being to hard to make this bigger.:hook

I went to your site and I would buy it if you had the pattern in larger sizes :blush Let us know if you write it up to 40 and I'm there!

That looks really nice!! It looks similar (in shape only not in style/pattern) to some tops that walmart is selling in the jr's section this fall. only they are closed around the bottom and don't pin shut. I'll have to check that pattern out closely, cause I have a few neices that would LOVE that! You did a GREAT job!!

Mccrochets, thank you!...I have seen so many crochet tops out in stores now! Even at the mall, Kohls, Target, like you said, Walmart...everywhere! And also I have seen some ponchos.. Target had a motif shawl, and hats!!!!
