Here are two doilies that I made from Patricia Kristoffersen designs.

The first is Espresso from Coffee and Creme Doilies (http://www.pkcrochet.com/3073ccd.html)

I really liked making this one, The twists and strips weren't as bad as t thought they would be.

Vera, these doilies are beautiful. How long have you been working in thread? I'm just starting myself and have become totally addicted in a very short time. I can only hope that I'll eventually be able to make such lovely doilies myself.:hook

Vera, these doilies are beautiful. How long have you been working in thread? I'm just starting myself and have become totally addicted in a very short time. I can only hope that I'll eventually be able to make such lovely doilies myself.:hook

I've been working with thread for about 2 and a half years now even though I've been crocheting since childhood. Coffee and Creme Doilies was the first doily book I brought (not recommended:eek ), and I couldn't get the hang of it, so I went on to easier ones first although I did make a few Trish coasters.

I only recently decided to give them another try after I got some experience.

Your doilies are the reason I got the Doilies with a Twist book even though I wondered if I could make them.

I'm working on Rosa now. Those 18 spirals take a while to do--whew!
