thanks everyone, for the lovely compliments!!

My daughter knew she wanted a mesh style, with just a little bit of a pattern in it - ( I was thinking of adding beads around the botom- but she chose not to in the end) After looking thru my patterns, none were exactly it- so I just winged it............
I used royal cotton dk and a 5.5mm hook, for the edging I used a 3.5mm hook.

I worked it as a back and front ( 2 pieces the same) then sewed up
I chained 66......then did petal stitch along the base( 2 clusters of 3dtr) ( skipping 5 chain in between petals) at the end of the row I did ch5 turn - now make a mesh row- sc into the space between the petals ch5 and sc into the petals.............at the end ch 5 turn, sc into the last loop made.

I worked the mesh til just under her boobs, then another petal stitch row.
then came in 3 loops for the armholes ( both sides of course!LOL)- worked that for 4 inches, then did the shoulder straps- starting at 5 loops, next row 4, then keeping it at 3 until the desired length.
sewed it up - and did a row of sc around, then a row where I decreced every 5 sc to give it a good shape ( around armholes /neckline etc)
and 3 rows sc along bottom..........

She's very tiny - so I would chain to fit half your waist measurement ( has to be divisible by 6- for the petals)
hope that helps- Bubblefizz is already making one - I spoke to her yesterday - and it looks really nice too so far!!
