I've been busy making dolls! I think they're sooo cute! I made one for my step-mom for Christmas, decided to show it off and have 3 orders! So I've pulled the stops on everything else.

Oh my! My mom would dearly love those! Where on earth did you get the pattern? Is it for sale anywhere? You did an absolutely wonderful job with these, and I really love the use of the ecru thread fpr them. Perfect!

Yes, it's the JP Coats collector doll series. This is #1 in the series from 1991, so I think the only way to find a pattern now would be ebay or a garage sale. It's all #10 thread, except the hair is embroidery floss.
The doll is about 11", the baby is 3". I'm selling the doll for $30 without the baby. She's so darn tedious, I'm not making anymore of her!!!:hook I've been giving a choice of blonde or brunette, and ribbon color. So far, they've really been fun to make!

Thanks for all your nice comments, it's so encouraging :manyheart

I have the pattern for the victorian dolls too, but I never made it yet. I have the 20's flapper pattern too and that I did make, the pictures are attached. Now that I've seen the victorian doll done up I may make it too. I think they are really beautiful :c9

I hate to be a pest, but do you know if the pattern booklet has any sort of number on it? I tried doing a google search in hopes of finding this listed somewhere for sale, like on ebay, but no luck. I thought maybe if I had some sort of booklet #, it might help. I would love to be able to make the smallest Victorian doll. (I'd also like to be able to make just the dog from the flapper pattern. LOL Maybe if there is a booklet number for that one, too, I should ask for it as well...)

Doubt I'll find these for sale anywhere, to be honest, but hey, hope springs eternal, right?:lol

Susan,
The dolls are amazing! I was inspired to search the patterns out on ebay and have bid on all 3 Coats doll books! I have 4 daughters, and can't wait to try my hand at crocheting them dolls.

Just beautiful. I thought they looked familiar to me so I went and looked in my patterns and found I have the same pattern along with three others. I managed to get them at my local thrift store earlier this summer. You've inspired me to try them myself.
