Lion Granny poncho

Here's my version of the Homespun Granny poncho on the Lion Brand site.

This was a gift for a 9 yr old. I used the pattern as written, but for yarn I used Bernat Baby Coordinates and an I hook. The thinner yarn & smaller hook resized it perfectly. Around the bottom, I did 2 rounds of HDC with Paton's Cha Cha.

We tease my friend that her daughter is mayor of "Pink Sparkly Barbie World" although she is on a blue kick right now <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/thumbsup.gif" />

Using the smaller yarn & hook made it so easy to fit a little girl without messing with the pattern. I did another one a little while ago for another 9 yr old, but don't have a picture (gave it away too fast!)
I used TLC Amore & the I hook again.
