Lace shawl for toddler

Good evening, all,

My daughter is going to be in my sister's wedding in April of next year. It will still be a little cool around that time, so I was thinking about making a shawl for her to wear over her shoulders when she was outside.

I will probably be using a KnitPicks lace weight, but I have no idea what pattern would be appropriate. She will be 3 years old, if that helps any.

honestly .. i think a lacy capelet might be better .. like something with a tie or botton so she doesnt have to fuss with it..

I agree, a capelet would be darling. I couldn't imagine my 4 year old in a shawl...she would be dragging it, lol. Maybe a capelet in white, trimmed in some fun fur?
