View Full Version : Pocket Tissue Pouch

OK, it may seem a little silly, but I hate the way those little plastic tissue packets get all grungy in my purse. The adhesive never holds and the flap comes open and the top tissue shreds, festooning my purse with white tissue confetti. I hate that.

So I made a little cover for my tissues. :)

If anyone's interested, the pattern can be found here (http://www.kusine.com/hooking/pockettissuepouch.htm).

Thanks for looking!

Thank you for sharing that, it turned out so nice!
I was trying to think of something to make for my grandma becuase she is trying to help me learn to crochet, but my grandma is totally a functionalist- she is not into fluffy extras... I know she will love this, and I know I need to make one for me now too. Thanks for the great idea! I hope mine turns out half as well as yours!

Thanks, everyone! I never knew so many other people had the same problem I do. :)

Please note that I corrected the pattern yesterday. Shari was very helpful in pointing out a couple of typos. Thanks, Shari!

Nice work. I've been using a ziplock bag for tissues, so this will be a bit more elegant. ;)

My sentiments exactly about those tissue fragments all over the inside (and sometimes outside, depending on type fabric) of my purse! What a neat idea! Literally.:)
