If anyone is looking for Crocheted Socks (http://www.hancockfabrics.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=17117&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=17&iSubCat=468&iProductID=17117), it's on clearance at Hancock Fabrics. I have this book and it's great, full of wonderful patterns.

I saw this at a LYS yesterday and was intrigued ... I wonder if they're clearancing them in the stores too?! We have one not too far from here that I keep thinking I should make a trip to!

I made my first pair of adult socks out of that book. I think it was the "Oxford" pattern. They are very comfortable and great for "bumming" around the house.

Just a quick note. If you plan to work on them while flying...do your foundation work at home before you leave on your trip. This particular pair is made from the top down to toe. It was very hard to see while making the ribbed cuff on the plane...

Also, you may wanna check out overstock.com...they may have it even cheaper!

Happy Feet...I've got those happy feet!!!:frog

Do any of you have any pictures of socks you have made from this book? I would be interested in tracking it down (or getting my hubby to buy it for my birthday!) but I would love to see what other people have made from it first.

Thanks!

I borrowed that book from my local library, it has quite a few beautiful socks and a couple of fun ones, I love the toe socks, it's on my to-do list :hook

I too would like to see any that have been made by members.

the socks i have made look great.

i don't have a camera to take the pix of socks i have made but the book is helpful and one of the best-

I recomend the book. :) My mom bought it for me to learn how to make socks. :hook There are a lot patterns in the book. I'm still working on my first pair. And, of course, I decided to make them for my husband from a pattern that was only for women's feet so I'm modifying the pattern as I got to fit his feet.... So mine are turning out a little odd, but that's what I get for doing it the hard way....
