star afghan

I made this for my daughter, as you can see if covers her queen size bed! She wanted it to be huge! I used red heart yarns ..about 8 skeins. She loves it and I made one a bit smaller for her boyfriend, in different colors.

Thanks for all your nice comments! Beth, it is a round ripple and I got the pattern from angelcrafts...you have to sign up, but it's free...link is above. it is a baby pattern, but I just kept going until it was the size I wanted!
