Check my blog for a bag I "unvented" and made.
There was a pattern on the Bernat site for a similar bag, but after I started it, the only thing I liked about it was the mesh part, so I frogged it and started over with "unventing" my own bag.
The only thing I used from the Bernat pattern was the chain 5 for the mesh, so is my bag an original design?

Looks like an original to me.:hook Bernat does not hold the copyright on ch 5 loops. We would all be in deepdo big trouble if that was the case.
That is a very nice little bag. Looks very handy :yay

I made it to be a sample for a larger bag, but it is a nice little size.
When I make the bigger bag, I'll have to remember to write out the instructions.
Is it ok to say that I am quite pleased with myself? :lol

Cute bag! I agree that you can definately call this your own design, so congrats on that, too! :cheer

Great job on your bag.....I remember my Mom having a similar bag like that but it's worked in size 10 crochet thread. She uses it as her market bag mostly to put fruits in the bag. :-)

Very nice design! I've been meaning to make a mesh bag for groceries and library books and such but haven't gotten 'round to it yet. I really like yours!

I used a G hook and worsted weight cotton yarn.
When I make a regular full-size bag, I'll write out the instructions and post them. I will also post instructions to make this bag easy to adjust if you want it a different size.
I appreciate the feedback and compliments! :hug

I think I made the same mesh bag--that you "unvented :lol
I like your mesh bag better than the other kind. I use mine for the pool but that pattern is "vertical challenged" or something. I look fwd to your pattern & I hope you will include the pattern for this little bag too! It looks great for smaller items. Great job!
