So I only did a couple of crocheted Christmas gifts this year but here is the big one. It says it's a mile-a-minute but I couldn't keep that pace so it took me quite a while.:blush My mother loves it and I'm pretty happy with it so it's all ok. :))

Nice job Stacy. I am working on one now that I started about 9 years ago (had to put it down then because I didn't have any extra minutes when the kids were little). When I picked it back up I only had three rows done now I have 6 done and 3 more to go. :cheer2

Thank you all for your compliments!

Rebecca - I liked that it was so simple. The inside strips were fast and easy. The pink edging was done in three rows and was pretty quick too. I like that I could measure my progress in panels and not by counting rows, although I've never tried another large afghan to compare with. And the panels are all joined with single crochets so that was fast. While I don't think I'd try this particular pattern again I'd definitely try another Mile-a-Minute.

you did a super job. i love mam's as they work up so fast. last year i made 3 for my aunt to give to her grandkids(she was dying and wanted to give them something to remember her by) and it only took me 2 weeks. of course the kiddos think that grandma made them, but thats alright. she passed away right after i gave them to her, like 3 days. so i am sooo glad that i got them done. still miss her too:cry she was a special auntie to me. i can see why your mom loved it. vicki:sun
