View Full Version : Desperate Crochet Shawl Finished!

I posted about the guage being off for this shawl, but decided to just rework it with a larger hook and extra stitches. Love the way it turned out. It is the Midnight Pansies Stole out of Annie's Attic Desperate Crochet. I used LB Jiffy in white and Katia Sevilla in white with a P hook. The flower is a crocheted rose.

Very classy! I can see that with a cute black dress (ok any color would be great with it... red would be gorgeous too!)

That came out gorgeous! I started it doing the required # of stiches for the beginning and I too thought this can't be right. It wasn't wide enough. So I put it down and thought I'd go back to it another time. Can I asked how many stitches you started with?

I think the sparkle in the yarn sets it off just perfectly. I really like it, and the rose is beautiful!
