Very nice. ^_^

I tried making "Rosa", as I have the booklet, but my spirals never turn out right, all long and only slightly twisted. I tried making the chains really tight and then loosely crocheting the stitches across, but it didn't work. With them all long and untwisted, when I crocheted around the points for the next row (connecting the points, so to speak), it was a mess.

Could you help me out here and let me know what I'm doing wrong? I've taken it apart too many times to count. :blush

Thanks for any help, and yours is beautiful. ^_^ Keep up the good work. ^_^

To make the spirals for this doily, ch 20, then starting with the 4th ch from the hook make 3 sc in each chain, and the chain should start to spiral pretty quickly.

To attach the spirals in the next round, wind the spirat a few time to make it tight, then let it untwist, then attach join the thread with an sc in the ch 2 space at the top of the spiral, then follow the patten arond to incorporate the rest of the spirals.

The next time I do a twist doily(I like Tala), I will take photos every few rounds or so, but here's a photo of Rosa as I was working on the spirals.

She looks like she has dreads. Can you see the timy chain loops at the top of each twist? That's where you will attach the thread with and sc in the next round.

Anyway, I hope this sheds some light. I'll be glad to help you further, just send me a private message :) .
