I'm looking for the pattern for the Magic Pot Holder I've heard so much about. I've found one on the Coats and Clark site, but I can't make heads nor tails of it. And no pic..I do better with pics. Does anyone have a better pattern?

This is one I've been using.

(you can see some of mine in this thread: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=7339 )

Oh, and if you have the Encyclopaedia of Crochet by Donna Kooler, there is a beautiful version done in slip stitch crochet.

Wow, all this time I have not seen that one. And, I was familiar with that site!
On the other hand, I like to leave mine open (i.e. NOT stitch them) in order to get a better grip. That is why I like to use the double-thick method
(as described here, under Reversible afghan: http://www.sarahanns.com/crochetworks/afgan.html )
or the slipstitch crochet, or ordinary sc with two strands of yarn.

:clap Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :clap

I'm a very visual person, so seeing how it is made makes total sense to me.

Again, Thank you!
