I finished this purse last night and had to share. It was more work than I thought it would be. I used Omega Nylon thread (color - Light Beige Brown) and a pattern from a free leaflet I got at Hobby Lobby. I did not care for the nylon thread so much. It took longer to work with as it did not pull through loops as easily as yarn. The look of it is very nice and the person who purchased it loved it!

You start with a sc base then do hdc around that and around 10 more rows. Then there is a fancy stitch as they call it where you (yo, insert hk, pull a lp, yo, insert hk, pull a lp, yo and pull through all loops) in same space then sc in next space then fancy stitch around. The directions stated to do this 10 rows worth, but it hurt my hand so I did two rows fancy stitch, two rows hdc making three sets of two rows of fancy stitch. Then hdc ten more rows and last row of sc. The handle was hard to understand in the directions, but I made it work and it turned out nice.
