First of all...sorry for the bad pic. I used two strands of Bernat baby coordinates in Lovely lilac. My daughter is trying it on for her sister...she wanted to keep it.
I knitted the shrug and used crochet scallops for the trim. It fastens at the front with a tie that is sewn on one side and slips thorugh a hole on the other front side and ties.
I basically used the shrug pattern from Knit1 and used a stockingnette stitch instead of a garter stitch. Then added crochet trim.

I love it. I'm a big fan of the shrug this season since they are so easy to make. I have so many in my head that I'm starting to sketch them out so I will not forget.

Thank you, she is very pretty...but I don't know how you could tell, LOL, the pic was so bad, and she had to be woken up to take the picture...not a morning person ...lol. But thank you. She is getting married in two weeks (she is only 18) so I will have some nicer pics then. I crocheted her ring bearer cushion and her flower girl basket.
