Dance Skirt Pattern?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a lightweight, wrap dance skirt pattern. Dancers often wear a lightweight wrap skirt made of fabric during class, and I think one done up in crochet cotton, or a lightweight yarn would look nice.

Any ideas?

I plan to wear the flamenco wrap to my belly dance classes. :)

Though I suppose any lightweight shawl pattern would work.

"Crochetme Issues"? I'm not familar with this, can anyone enlighten me?

The Flamengo wrap looks nice, but I don't think it would work for my daughter, even though it's beautiful. She'll be teaching dance classes soon, and I think she'd need something shorter than that.

Well I showed this to my daughter and she liked it!!!! :cheer Now to find the appropriate yarn for it. :think

The yarn I bought was dive` glitter stampato. It's a thin yarn, though not quite ribbon yarn. I'd say probably something very thin and drapey. I just went to the yarn shop and looked around.

If she wants more than one, have you tried patterns for swimsuit wraps? Though maybe they might have ideas for kinds of yarn...
