Nice job. I've done this one as well - actually I've made 3 of them. Beautiful doily.

I think the picture is too big, so I'll post a link...

It wasn't hard making the flowers or the edging but I did find attaching the flowers as they were made a bit tricky. The flowers & edging is pretty basic stuff & easy.

Heather, its a beautiful doily!! The only reason I am shying away is because of the numerous joins :)

Thank you everyone.

I too was a bit intimidated when I saw all the joining, but it was so beautiful and I was making it for a fellow crocheter that I knew all the work would be appriciated.

It was by no means an easy project for me, but like diamond said, the flowers are basic and so is the eding. The joining was the most challenging but once I got the hang of that it was easier. The pits, as always with several color projects, was weaving in all those ends! each flower had 2 - 6 at least and the daisy had two for each petal! :eek

All worth it in the end and it was fun trying something new.

Thank you again for all the wonderful compliments.

Wow Heather, I have been so tempted to try that doily. It's beautiful, I just don't know if I'd have the patience to do all those flowers. Congratulations, pat yourself on the back for me!

The pattern I used was not Maggies, it was from a vintage crochet magazine. I am not sure which one but it is similar to Maggies from the look of it.
