Monkey for Jake's Birthday

My as-of-today ten-year-old is way into monkeys right now (started with something he saw on Fairly Oddparents), so I wanted to crochet him one as a present for his birthday. I just finished it today! He hasn't opened the present with it in it yet, so I hope he likes. . .

Great job on the monkey! And your son looks like a sweetheart -- hope he enjoys the simian.:lol My son also has a thing for monkeys, and he's 19 years old . I gave him a bright orange orang toy a while back, because his love of orangs parallels his love of the Librarian in Pratchett's Discworld, who happens to be a wizard who was turned into an orangutan. So, he keeps "the Librarian" hanging from the post of his bed.

Besides, as my son and hubby both remind me frequently, "Monkeys is funny." :D

i love monkeys, my mom made me a sock monkey and i still have it. Your finger puppets are adorable!
