scarf colors okay?

this is a scarf i made for sonny for the scarf swap and am thinking of doing a copy of it for a friend for a gift.....
what's the thought on the colors... i like them, but my mother didn't. i think my friend will, but wanted other opinions

If you want me to be absolutely perfectly 100% honest, I think it's a little weird. But you must know that (although I love a bright red shirt paired with a rainbow belt on occasion) my taste runs toward perfectly matched clothes, pastels (like pink...ooops, are you the one that doesn't like that color). :?

BUT...on the other hand...if the recipient likes stuff like that, don't let me stop you.

i love the scarf but not the colors. I do like some earthy colors but would think a combination of deep purple, chocolate brown, spice, and forest green would be even better.

I love it! I love the colors together, and I love the fact that it's nothing something you see everyday!!! Crocheted and knitted items are IN these days and your scarf adds flair and creativity to any outfit!

I think it is a case of know your audience. Everyone has different personalities. It has a funky, eclectic look to it, so you need to know if the person you are giving it to would wear something a little out there. And I mean out there in a good way! If you think they are a little more conservative, change the colors to more matching ones. Ooo, Rebecca, we can form the pink club! (Just kidding.) I wore all pink the other day and it was so much fun...pink capris, a beaded pink shirt a dear friend gave me for my birthday... But no, I did not, will not dye my hair that color! :U (No offense to people with pink hair.)
