This is the afghan I'm making for my DH for Christmas (it won't be done - he'll get it in progress). I'm using Red Heart yarn in camouflage, using a straight double crochet. He used to be in the Army and I currently am. This is after 16 1/2 hours and 3 skeins of yarn. In this picture it measures 60" wide by 27" long. I'm shooting for 6 feet as my DH is 6'2".

It looks great! (Rick would "wonder" why there was a big blank space in the middle of the photo. Everytime we see some guy in his hunting camo he pretends it's just a head floating in the air. :thinking2 Sometimes I think he's a little touched in the head. :wink )

my hubby does the same thing. my oldest has camo pj's and when he wears them hubby will walk around the house and call for him, asking everyone where he is (like he can't see him).

they can be pretty goofy sometimes
(and it appears to have rubbed off on me a bit:loco )

Your afghan is wonderful! The goofiness must be all over because my husband does stuff like that too, but, that's why I love him. He has a wonderful sense of humor.

LOL girls. :)) My brother and I are that way at airshows when the stealth bomber would fly around. We'd always ask everyone what they were looking at. :loco
