Hello,

I just got some realy nice Pattons Pebbles on sale at joanns, and it is just screaming at me to make it into a nice scarf!

However I am having a hard time finding a good stitch for it....I don't have much experience w/ super bulky yarn like this. :thair

I would like to make a long skinny scarf....any ideas on a good stitch? Maybe something kind of open since it is such a fluffy yarn?

Thanx in advance :clap

Hi Chicki,

I just made a bulky yarn slim scarf in crochet, first scarf, with crochet instructions in front of me and could easily make it. If you do decide to make this scarf then the bulkiness makes a difference to the width. This one was about 1-1/2 inches wide but my yarn was thinner, so I did some more crochet on each side. I'm in Australia, and because the pattern uses double crochet, in the u.s., I had to make it triple crochet, they are both the same stitch. DS girlfriend loves mine so much I need to make another.
Someone from Crochetville has made one from "pizzaz" you can search for it, but it is entirely an entirely different yarn.

Sorry I cannot work out how to do a link but it is www.knitpixie.com, and is a free pattern, you cannot see it unless you open an account, but thats easy!

Hope you like it.
